Storm Drainage Maintenance Fees
South Beebe Draw Metropolitan District (the "District") assesses an annual storm drainage maintenance fee on all residential and commercial properties within its service area. The fee offsets the costs associated with the storm drainage regional infrastructure and maintenance within these developments.
The District maintains the regional storm drainage system which includes, but is not limited to, the underground infrastructure and detention ponds. The storm drainage maintenance fees collected by the District are separate and unrelated to any fees that the City of Brighton or Town of Lochbuie charge for sanitary sewer services or infrastructure.
RESIDENTIAL STORM DRAINAGE MAINTENANCE FEE
The annual storm drainage fee for 2026 is $60.00 for all residential properties within its service area. The fee covers the full 2026 year of service (January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026).
COMMERCIAL STORM DRAINAGE MAINTENANCE FEES
The annual storm drainage maintenance fees on all commercial property is calculated based on the impervious surface area for individual businesses.
DELINQUENT BALANCES
Delinquent balances will result in a delinquent charge in the amount of either $15.00 or up to 5% per month, whichever is greater. Balances delinquent for 6 months or more may be assessed a penalty of $200.00. Interest shall begin to accrue on past due fees at a non-compounding interest rate of 1.5% per month until paid.
